Forms of new media have also diversified how companies, brands, and ad networks serve ads to visitors. For instance, YouTube allows video-makers to embed advertisements through Google’s affiliate network.[18][19] New developments have made it more difficult for unscrupulous affiliates to make money. Emerging black sheep are detected and made known to the affiliate marketing community with much greater speed and efficiency.[citation needed]
In such times, people try to make fast cash and look for ways on the internet. And the internet is full of sites and programs and advertisements, which say you can make a ton load of money from your home or that you can follow their simple steps to make cash, all with a onetime payment of some dollars. Unfortunately, these are mostly scams, designed to rob the poor, unsuspecting and desperate souls.

Although it differs from spyware, adware often uses the same methods and technologies. Merchants initially were uninformed about adware, what impact it had, and how it could damage their brands. Affiliate marketers became aware of the issue much more quickly, especially because they noticed that adware often overwrites tracking cookies, thus resulting in a decline of commissions. Affiliates not employing adware felt that it was stealing commission from them. Adware often has no valuable purpose and rarely provides any useful content to the user, who is typically unaware that such software is installed on his/her computer.
Most scams sell you false hopes about getting rich overnight and as a matter of fact, some legit programs carry out their promotion along these lines. Programs like Niche Profit Full Control are legit, but they suck you in with false hopes of earning 5 figures within a short period of time.
Since the emergence of affiliate marketing, there has been little control over affiliate activity. Unscrupulous affiliates have used spam, false advertising, forced clicks (to get tracking cookies set on users’ computers), adware, and other methods to drive traffic to their sponsors. Although many affiliate programs have terms of service that contain rules against spam, this marketing method has historically proven to attract abuse from spammers.
I would also add that the best way to improve ones strategies and conversions are not by studying the courses that we buy and review, but by carefully observing how the sellers we buy from actually sell to us and then model off of that.

I have started looking at affiliate networks and finding products to promote that way. Also going to try to utilize a Youtube channel with promotion, as well as some paid advertising. It all works with the right amount of patience. I do have an Amazon Affiliate account that I can link too, but diversifing and learning to branch out is key. Truthfully I do not think the Amazon associate program is all that newbie friendly.
