I guess there would come a point where too much promotion would get a negative reaction so you want to be a little subtle about your promotion but in general, I think readers can handle more than we might think they can.
It really depends on your niche and your readers. I’ve learned the most by watching others in my niche and seeing what they seem to promote frequently. For me personally (and from what I’ve heard others say), creating your own product is so much better than most affiliate marketing.
It can feel overwhelming to do all the necessary work involved in setting up your site and building your reputation. But trust me, once you’ve made that first sale, all the hard work will be worth it!
Affiliates get paid 200% per sale. It’s $60 to $398 per sale. Their Affiliate program is hosted at Impact Radius which pay through PayPal, check and EFT (Payoneer via US payment services available) when you reach $50 in account earnings.
There are a number of merchants who work directly with affiliates; but most affiliate marketers will make use of a network to find and implement offers on their sites. Though networks take a cut of fees generated and therefore reduce the overall amount paid, they do serve some valuable purposes in the affiliate marketing ecosystem:

There are lots of different ways to earn some money online, from setting up a blog, using YouTube to have your say, or selling products through eBay. This guide will teach you several ways to get your online business going. Soon, you’ll be earning your first $1000 through passive income!
In the infancy of affiliate marketing, many Internet users held negative opinions due to the tendency of affiliates to use spam to promote the programs in which they were enrolled.[27] As affiliate marketing matured, many affiliate merchants have refined their terms and conditions to prohibit affiliates from spamming.
I have started looking at affiliate networks and finding products to promote that way. Also going to try to utilize a Youtube channel with promotion, as well as some paid advertising. It all works with the right amount of patience. I do have an Amazon Affiliate account that I can link too, but diversifing and learning to branch out is key. Truthfully I do not think the Amazon associate program is all that newbie friendly.
Note: the key with these ‘best seller’ lists is to drive traffic to them. Two ways to do this is to prominently link to these pages from within your blog plus linking to them from within other posts. This second method means your post doesn’t just convert for a day or two.
Below is a compilation of some of these most powerful tips – based upon my experience  of working with Amazon’s program over last 10 years. I’ve updated them to make them as relevant as I can for 2013.

Affiliate Marketing Secrets
Pick a niche you are passionate about, and confirm other people are passionate about it. the best way to do this is to type the main keyword of your niche into Amazon’s search box. If you see dozens and hundreds of products related to your niche (with lots of product reviews) it’s typically a good niche to get into.
Yesterday I earned $506.03 from Amazon. It was actually a pretty good day, higher than average. One might think the higher than normal figure came from selling some big ticket items but that wasn’t the case. The highest commission for the day was a $21.34 commission. The vast majority of the sales were books sold from my list of photography books, which we promoted on social media recently.
I insist my writers actually read the books, test the cameras and use the software products they are reviewing. I encourage them to be as genuine and unbiased as possible, to point out both the pros and cons of the product. While there’s some temptation to hype up a product and only talk about its positive points, a real review will help your reader relationship over the long haul and I find actually helps promote sales.
For example – here’s the Camera and Photo best selling page (affiliate link) that ranks the best selling cameras and gear. You can even drill down further to look at best selling DSLRs, Flashes and Lenses.
ShareASale. A large network offering things like Genesis (here’s why I use Genesis for my WordPress theme), Tasty Pins (the Pinterest plugin for bloggers), Minted (invitations, calendars, gifts), eShakti (reasonably priced custom made clothes).
…the research and setup are the most important and time consuming pieces of that “engine”. I’m glad you address it ‘cos I strongly recommend spending at least half of your time (or more) on making sure you are ethically delivering a solid and useful product/service to your audience.
You may eventually determine that certain types of pricing arrangements work better on your site and with your audience. Excluding pay-per-sale offers, however, will dramatically limit the pool of options at most affiliate networks.
The major affiliate networks will have thousands of offers available to you. The vast majority of them won’t be appropriate for your site, in the sense that the products or services advertised aren’t relevant to your audience.
Will my target audience realistically spend this amount for the product? Again, your reputation is on the line here. Is the product you are thinking of promoting priced reasonably for your audience? When I was writing my ebook, I was stuck on pricing. I asked around for opinions. A number of people suggested I price my ebook at $47! Their idea was to price according to value, not size. In my mind that was crazy. My network was composed of a lot of stay-at-home bloggers, and my collective audience was comprised mostly of people without a whole lot of disposable income. There was no way anyone was going to pay $47 for my 30-page ebook.
One of the major factors that determines affiliate marketing success is the click rate on your site, or the percentage of your visitors who click on an affiliate marketing link. The more targeted and relevant the offers you present, the more likely your visitors are to click through to the merchant site.
Affiliate marketing is great to make money in short span of time. You only need few things a loyal readers and rabbit followings of subscribers or followers. Adsense is also good but if you compare adsense income vs affiliate income you feel that affiliate is best.
The market has grown in complexity, resulting in the emergence of a secondary tier of players, including affiliate management agencies, super-affiliates, and specialized third party vendors.[citation needed]
Some are more profitable than others, but usually most of your affiliate income will come from one or two “ringers” — core products that just about everyone in your audience needs and which also pay a good commission.
I concluded that having read a product review, people felt more informed to make a purchasing decision. As a result, if they did click a link after reading the review they were more likely to buy the product. Those clicking on the top link seemed to be more in a ‘surfing’ mode. They clicked on the link less because they wanted to buy it but more out of interest to learn more. Some bought the product and some bought other products once they were ‘in the door’ at Amazon.
