This is a short book, a VERY short book. I read it all in 15 minutes! It covers the various types of internet marketing, and gives an overview of ways to expand your audience. Basically, this book IS an overview of it all.
The most common question I hear is related to how companies track the record of who is sending the traffic and making the sales. The simple answer is with a tracking URL (a unique link given to you by the affiliate company or product company).
There are a few networks like Viglink and Skimlinks which automatically convert normal links into affiliate links. They use Javascript so it’s SEO friendly, and you do not need to sign up for an individual affiliate program.
Affiliate Marketing Mastery is definitely not a scam. In fact, I can say it is one of the few legitimate programs you can find in the “make money online” niche. I am fully behind Stefan’s system of making money online because it is what I do.
This looks and sounds like a “shiny object” to me. I could not find any reviews but as other’s have said, an increase of $1,000 overnight if you do not sign up today sounds like a scam…….and he is trying to get his money and get out before everyone comes to their senses!
Another way find this information is to do a simple Google search. For example, one could place the following phrase into Google Search:  “(product name) + affiliate program”. (Replace “product name” with the name of the product you are promoting.)
Bottom-line, it is a great program that covers everything and walks you through the method and the strategies, step by step. He urges you to earn profit from your passion. Stephen tells us that it doesn’t matter if the product isn’t ours; you can still earn a commission by selling or promoting someone else’s product.
It is possible to have traffic to your website, a huge following on social media and a large list but still not make money. This is what happens when you do not know what to do with the people you have attracted to your pages.
Well, let me say this. There are several videos that Stephan does. They are all great. He is positive and upbeat. A couple of things I am noticing though is that, I am a little disconcerted with the fact that in some of his videos, he sort of flaunts the fact that he’s moving into a $3 million dollar penthouse in Vancouver (it’s really not that glamorous looking at all in my opinion. Oh, and he’s renting it, not buying it.) Or the little pictures and videos of him driving around in his Corvette (more flaunting), or that he mentions all of these different countries he is in such as the Dominican Republic, ..wherever… doing the Airbnb thing. Or the fact that he states many times the dollar figures he makes per month or per year investing. It kind of comes off as flaunting. If you are successful, could you be a bit more humble about your wealth? That is just my “style”.
Great post , I do read a lot of the Nichehacks articles and this one is so true. At the moment I am in a niche I’m passionate about and yes although I am primarily using Amazon to monetize my site, I will be branching out to use other methods very soon. It frightens me to think the plug can be pulled at any time! I intent to use other affiliate programs as well as Amazon, maybe Google Adsense, I’m not sure yet, some digital products and also to build an email list.
How do you an evaluate a potential affiliate niche? It’s a question I’m asked several times a week. Half of the niches I’ve created affiliate sites in were ones I stumbled across totally by chance. The rest are in niches I directly set out to … Read More
Honestly, it’s hard to gauge this book. It has grammatical errors, but I’m not the type of person to judge a book by this. I prefer to judge a book by it’s content and I can tell the author tried his best. He tells you the steps to perform to reach your goal, but at times I have a hard time following his trail of thought. For example, he says to write about something you are passionate about and find remotely interesting, but in a later chapter he says to make a blog about product reviews; which is it, am I making a blow about product reviews or am I writing about topics that interest me? He is not clear about this.
The concept of revenue sharing—paying commission for referred business—predates affiliate marketing and the Internet. The translation of the revenue share principles to mainstream e-commerce happened in November 1994,[3] almost four years after the origination of the World Wide Web.

Create a blog and create tons of content related to your niche. You don’t (nor shouldnt) sell affiliate offers in every piece of content. Ideally, you want to aim for a content to promotion ration of 5:1. This is what Google is looking for. Always keep Google happy.

The CJ Network is capable of tracking and processing an enormous volume of actions and transactions. In 2011 alone, Commission Junction tracked a total of over 3 billion website visits, 175 million transactions and over $6 billion in online sales.
I am very familiar with Stefan’s programs and have listened to his stuf,, as well as bought some of his programs before. While I always enjoyed his smaller programs – I had success with his Kindle Money Mastery course – and I am an affiliate for his programs, I know that this course is overpriced. It is a great program, don’t get me wrong, actually more in depth than WA, but it should be priced at half of his on sale price.
There is no defined or set of companies which are best. It all depends on the type of audience and niche you are in. Shareasale and Vigilinks are good to start with. See what niche you are in and try to find affiliate in it. Do not promote anything which is not related to your blog.
When a user visits a publisher’s website and clicks an advertiser’s creative ad, the visitor’s browser receives the CJ tracking cookie that identifies the advertiser, the publisher, the specific creative and commission amount. This data is stored within the link information in what are called “parameters” and can include even more anonymous data used for attribution.

An ecommerce merchant that wants to be able to reach a wider base of internet users and shoppers may hire an affiliate. An affiliate could be the owner of multiple websites or email marketing lists; therefore, the more websites or email lists that an affiliate has, the wider his network. The affiliate that has been hired would then communicate and promote the products offered on the ecommerce platform to his network. The affiliate does this by implementing banner ads, text ads, and/or links on their multiple owned websites or via email to their clientele. Advertisement could be in the form of articles, videos, images, etc., which are used to draw an audience’s attention to a service or product.

They do not provide website hosting, you do not get a domain platform, you do not get a keyword research tool. All these things are necessary to build an online business and even though they teach you how to set up your website, you will have to pay extra to get these things.
It’s not that being an Amazon affiliate is difficult, it’s a fairly easy platform to use and get sales from. The problem is with building an “Amazon Affiliate SITE” which is different from just using the Amazon Affiliate program.
In the infancy of affiliate marketing, many Internet users held negative opinions due to the tendency of affiliates to use spam to promote the programs in which they were enrolled.[27] As affiliate marketing matured, many affiliate merchants have refined their terms and conditions to prohibit affiliates from spamming.
A browser extension is a plug-in that extends the functionality of a web browser. Some extensions are authored using web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Most modern web browsers have a whole slew of third-party extensions available for download. In recent years, there has been a constant rise in the number of malicious browser extensions flooding the web. Malicious browser extensions will often appear to be legitimate as they seem to originate from vendor websites and come with glowing customer reviews.[28] In the case of affiliate marketing, these malicious extensions are often used to redirect a user’s browser to send fake clicks to websites that are supposedly part of legitimate affiliate marketing programs. Typically, users are completely unaware this is happening other than their browser performance slowing down. Websites end up paying for fake traffic number, and users are unwitting participants in these ad schemes.
The beauty of affiliate marketing is that you don’t have to invest the time and effort to create a product to sell. You can begin selling something as an affiliate as soon as you have a platform to sell it on.
When visitors clicked on the associate’s website to go to Amazon and purchase a book, the associate received a commission. Amazon was not the first merchant to offer an affiliate program, but its program was the first to become widely known and serve as a model for subsequent programs.[12][13]
Consider signing up for other affiliate programs once you have started to improve your Amazon Associates income. Amazon Associates can be valuable because of the high volume of people who shop on Amazon; however, other online affiliate programs give higher commissions.
In affiliate marketing, one task that cookies manage is to remember the link or ad the visitor to a website clicks on. Cookies can also store the date and time of the click, they can even be used to remember what kind of websites or content you like most. There are many different types of web cookies and uses, but the kind of cookie affiliate marketing relies on is called a first-party cookie.
Meaning, they deal with all the product development, design, theme, customer service, refunds, support, payment process etc. and all you do is market their product then collect the commissions. The greatest part about affiliate marketing is that it is very low cost and doesn’t require a lot of time from you.

Grrr… If there’s one thing that annoys me it’s when people cry ‘SCAM’ online for something that clearly isn’t. For example if you buy a weight loss ebook and continue to shove donuts down your throat, then if you don’t lose weight it’s not because the ebook is a scam, right? What’s worse than this though …
